All flights completed. Once coming out of La Rochelle the main alternator failed (a PlanePower since replaced with a B&C), I returned, identified the problem and set off again (VFR) on backup Alternator. The three hour flight was successfully performed on just the Backup alternator while running both EFIS, Flymap, Electric Ignition, Autopilot, and GNS430, dimming the EFIS and Flymap alone will shed 3 amps.
Normal cruise 26 litres per hour.
Comfortable range with good reserves 4 hours, couple of flights 41/2 hr.
Normal cruise level FL80 to FL120, once to FL160.
Tank holds 136 Lts / 26 lph = 5.23 hrs.
Still air 136 kts x 4 hrs = 544 nm.
